IMMIGRATION
Our immigration and naturalization team is capable to provide legal advice on any visa for non Mexican individuals entering into Mexico, and are prepared to deal with the legal and operative matters during all the stages of an immigration process. Among others, we obtain working permits for visitors, tourist visa, work permits for international transfers, apostille and legalization, criminal record certificate, employer registration, temporary and permanent residents, family visas, exit and reentry permits, renewals, and all the different immigration status required by immigration regulations.
Furthermore, Ojeda | Ojeda y Asociados has built alliances with several well recognized firms throughout the country (as well as with firms specialized in different practices), which enables us to offer full Mexican legal services to our clients. ENTERTAINMENT AND TRADEMARKS
In 2010 we started our Entertainment practice, assisting producers and production companies both national and international for the productions of films and series in Mexico. We have experience in all legal matters involving pre-production, production and post-production. We are specialists in intellectual property and the use of image related to the entertainment industry.
In the latter years, we have broadened our Entertainment practice by assisting studios and platforms on the distribution of international contents, the publicity industry, and funding for film productions. Our team of lawyers is capable to attend all legal needs of an audiovisual project from its conception: hiring scriptwriters, acquiring rights, negotiations with talent, locations, vendors, personnel, post-production, clearance of production desigh, final cuts, scripts, and up to the exhibition by drafting and negotiating co-production contracts, distribution licenses, among others.
We are proud of collaborating with international film productions such as “Get the Gringo”, “Point Break”, “Elysium”, “James Bond:Spectre”; international series filmed in Mexico like “The Romanoffs”, “Zero Zero Zero”, “Narcos Mexico”, “Mozart in the Jungle”, “Fear the Walking Dead”, among many others. We have worked with the big studios and platforms, but as we say, no project is small and we are also very proud to be part of many independent Mexican productions that have participated in the most recognized film festivals arround the world.

Regarding Real Estate legal assistance, our services include a detailed revision of the background of the property, the needed permits and up to determining the ideal legal structure for the specific real estate project in development. Our team of lawyers has plenty experience and can offer our clients research and assistance when acquiring land.
We have expert team of lawyers in Family Law, that can assist families in succession and inheritance matters, in coordination with Notaries, Trust funds and Financial institution. Additionally, the Firm can advise and represent individuals in family matters such as divorce, custody, child support and guardianship.
